Students at Zionsville Community High School recently premiered their rendition of the musical Les Miserables on Nov. 16, 2017. The cast of the show has worked on perfecting their performance for many months, and the participating students were very excited for everyone to see it on opening weekend.

Cynthia Kauffman, junior, said she was excited to be a part of the show.

“It’s been a challenging show emotionally, but it’s so wonderful being in a show with people who bring so much talent to the table,” said Kauffman.

Young actors and actresses, as well as members of the crew and pit orchestra, have being working extremely hard to perfect this performance for the Zionsville community. With shows on Nov. 16, 17, and 18, the community of Zionsville watched the talented students’ work.

Before the premiere of the musical, Tate Eugenio, sophomore and orchestra pit member, said he believed the show would really ‘wow’ the audience.

“The music for Les Mis is very difficult to perfect, but we’ve been working on it since May, and the show will be great,” said Eugenio.

This fall’s play, Les Miserables, was most definitely one to remember.
